TII 2016 Conference Investing in Innovation
From 27 Apr 2016 to 29 Apr 2016
Location : Barcelona, Spain
SPECIAL RATE OF EUR 350 FOR ALL NEW CONFERENCE REGISTRATIONS THIS WEEK!
Innovation cannot happen without investing resources and/or money. Technological innovation often requires the investment of large sums of money, whereas organizational innovation and soft skills can usually be deployed at low cost. Some high-tech innovations, such as in the space sector, mobilize huge R&D budgets but at the same time are the source of multiple technology transfers which benefit other industrial sectors and sections of the population. Last but not least, investing in innovation is not only reserved for high-tech developments and high-earning consumers, but is having lasting benefits for low-tech applications and less privileged population groups.
This year’s TII annual conference will focus on new trends, initiatives and results which relate to the investing-in-innovation theme, by putting the spotlight on three different angles: products and processes, people and money.
The TII annual conference brings together future-minded practitioners, researchers and thought leaders from the international R&I community, technology transfer and innovation management. The conference format includes presentations selected from a public call, inspiring keynote addresses and dynamic interactive sessions. It is also an excellent opportunity to get connected with people coming from different professional backgrounds and countries, from both the private and public sectors, who share the same passion for innovation and technology transfer. In addition to the excellent networking opportunities and a taste of local culture, we will also be offering a discovery mission to some of the host city’s innovation hotspots.
